Plant Utilities Leader

 

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Utilities Leader to oversee the daily operations of plant utilities and facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability.

This key leadership role is responsible for managing preventative and corrective maintenance programs for critical infrastructure and building systems (HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air, etc.).

 

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement strategies to enhance energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction initiatives.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational goals and drive continuous improvement in facilities operations.

* Ensure full compliance with environmental, health & safety, and facilities-related regulatory requirements.

* Manage service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to schedules.

* Develop and manage annual facilities and utilities budgets; track KPIs and report on performance metrics.

 

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a facilities or utilities management role within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong knowledge of plant systems (mechanical, electrical, water, HVAC, etc.) and maintenance best practices.

* Demonstrated experience in managing sustainability and environmental compliance programs.

* Proven track record of managing third-party contractors and vendor relationships.
