Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior professional to join our European VAT team. As a Senior VAT Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring VAT compliance and addressing queries from internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly VAT reporting calendar for a team of four, guaranteeing timely submission of VAT, Intrastat, and EC Sales filings.
  • Support team members in preparing complete, accurate, and timely VAT filings.
  • Oversee month-end processes, including VAT account reconciliations, journal entries, cash management, forecasting, and FX exposure monitoring.
  • Ensure timely responses to queries from VAT Authorities.
  • Maintain the VAT control framework for SOX, internal audit, and external VAT inspections.
  • Participate in project work as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in finance or VAT in a multinational setting.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups).
  • Experience with RPA tools.
  • Fluent in English (additional European language is a plus)
  • Desirable: Experience in Customs/Trade Compliance.
