Job Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy seeks a seasoned environmental scientist to manage infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee project teams, provide technical support and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of infrastructure projects with timely delivery and high technical standards.
- Collaboration with clients, stakeholders, regulators, subcontractors, and internal disciplines.
- Proposal preparation and bidding for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Team leadership and technical support provision to junior staff.
Requirements
- Relevant science or environmental engineering degree qualification.
- Masters qualification preferred but not essential.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body.
- Post-graduate experience in a consultancy environment, particularly in EIAR preparation and coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of planning and environmental legislation, as well as technical guidance and industry standards.
- Proven track record in technical report writing and project management.
- Sustainability and carbon management expertise desirable but not essential.
