Emotional Support Provider Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Empower individuals with disabilities to live independently in their residential home and community.
  • Transport service users to facilitate access to daily living activities.
  • Participate in household duties, such as cooking, laundry, general cleaning, and shopping.
  • Maintain professional communication and relationships with colleagues.
  • Aware of safe working conditions and implement safe work practices, reporting potential hazards, incidents, and concerns.
  • Engage positively and actively in team meetings, supervisions, training, and team events.

Successful candidates will provide high-quality care to service users and collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional care standards are met.

Requirements:
  • QQI relevant qualification within the Healthcare Sector - Minimum Level 5.
  • Applicants must be 18+ years old.
  • Full clean manual driving license and access to own transport.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards.
  • Work or student experience in social care or a related sector.
