We are seeking an experienced Conference and Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of conferences, banquets, and other events at our esteemed establishment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring that all events run smoothly and to the satisfaction of our clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of event coordinators and support staff to achieve exceptional customer service standards;
  • Managing event budgets and controlling costs to ensure financial viability;
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food regulations;
  • Maintaining accurate records of events, including guest lists, menus, and billing information;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote events and drive sales;
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution;
Requirements:
  • Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in events management, preferably in a luxury hotel environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities;
  • Able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and technology;
