Key Accounting Role

This automotive company is seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join their car leasing team as part of their finance department. The role is based in D13, with ample parking on site and close proximity to Dart services.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will work directly alongside the Financial Controller and Managing Director within this subsidiary on a daily basis. Your duties will include:

  • Managing the billing cycle and overseeing any queries
  • Credit control and assisting with payment plan setup (B2B corporate clients)
  • Query and discrepancy resolution
  • General ledger management
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Tax returns
  • Problem-solving and process improvement
  • Accounts preparation at month and year-end
  • Bookkeeping
  • Accounts Payable
  • Monthly account preparation for sign-off

Requirements

This role requires ample previous experience working in a similar role within accounts. The ideal candidate would have:

  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • ATI qualified or similar
  • Exposure to B2B credit or billing desired
  • Strong knowledge of accounts and bookkeeping within an SME
