Lead Technical Project Manager for Medical Device Development

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Technical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of technical projects within our medical device development team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality and cost management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, resource allocation and risk management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance and regulatory teams.
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and team members.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in medical device development.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile, Scrum and Waterfall.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with ISO 13485, FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards.
  • Knowledge of medical device design controls, verification and validation processes.
