Role Summary

  • The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for growing our digital platforms and audiences, sharing authentic stories of students and staff, supporting admissions and community events, and bringing fresh ideas to how we connect with families in Ireland and abroad.

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same - you could be filming a hockey match, editing a reel, brainstorming campaign ideas, tweaking SEO, or capturing behind-the-scenes moments from a school play.

As a key member of our team, you will gain hands-on experience across digital advertising, content creation, campaign strategy, and community engagement while making a real impact in a unique environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating engaging social media content and owning our social media channels;
  • Capturing authentic stories from around the school - photos, videos, blogs, reels;
  • Experimenting with formats and trends to boost reach and engagement;
  • Keeping our website fresh and user-friendly, with an eye on SEO and UX;
  • Supporting school events by creating content before, during, and after;
  • Collaborating with staff and students to bring their achievements to life;
  • Working alongside brand, web development, and digital advertising agencies, as well as professional photographers and videographers;
  • Tracking and analysing performance, sharing insights to shape future campaigns;
  • Staying curious - spotting opportunities on emerging platforms and new trends;
  • Having strong digital skills: Canva/Adobe, video/photo editing, WordPress, MailChimp, social scheduling tools;
  • Confidence with planning, organisation, and admin is also necessary;
  • We need someone who can keep campaigns and content on track.

Requirements include:

  • Proven marketing experience (agency, in-house, freelance, or even strong internships);
  • A 3rd-level qualification in marketing, communications, or digital media - or equivalent practical experience;
  • Natural storyteller who enjoys people as much as pixels;
  • Strong digital skills and ability to keep campaigns and content on track.
