Structural Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural solutions for various projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on national landmarks in both private and public sectors, honing their technical skills and commercial awareness under the guidance of senior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural solutions for projects
  • Work under the guidance of senior staff to develop technical skills and commercial awareness
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver projects
  • Identify and apply scientific methods to solve engineering problems
Requirements
  • Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of postgraduate experience
  • Commitment to achieving Chartered Status with Engineers Ireland
  • Understanding of engineering principles and strong technical focus
  • IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, Project, and structural design software such as CADS, SCIA, Tekla, AutoCAD, TEDDS, REVIT, STRAP, and other design software
