Job Opportunity

This is a well-established and experienced practice seeking an accomplished Design Technology Specialist to join their modern office.

Key Responsibilities

As a seasoned Design Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering detailed design of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations using technical and building construction expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and submitting statutory applications, tender packages, drawings, schedules, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Attending meetings with clients, design teams, contractors, and other specialists.
  • Assisting with ensuring compliance with clients' briefs, current Irish Planning, Building, and Health & Safety Regulations, as well as other relevant legislation.
  • Visiting sites and carrying out site inspections.

Requirements

You will have a degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline, 8+ years' experience working in an architectural firm, proactive with strong initiative and motivation, excellent knowledge and experience of Irish Planning, Building Regulations, Building Control, and Irish Health & Safety legislation. AutoCAD with Revit experience is desirable, and a full driving licence and access to your own car are required for frequent travel to sites.
