Job Title: Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our projects. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with expertise in construction project management and estimating.


About the Role:
  • Analyse building drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialist requirements.
  • Prepare tender documents, source and obtain material and subcontractor quotations, including final negotiations and orders.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on a regular basis to ensure costs are under control.
  • Complete monthly sub contractor valuations through to final account.
  • Complete monthly valuations to QS and record all additional works items.
  • Liaise with clients to agree rates/variations and cost analysis.
  • Measure works as per contract specific schedule of rates.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts within the agreed timescales.

Requirements:
  • Honours Degree in Construction Management or other related disciplines (HND/HNC or strong construction related experience also considered).
  • Experience in Estimating / Construction Management role within a Main Contracting organisation for at least 2 years.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills, comfortable working with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrate initiative whilst working in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.
