Accounting Expertise Sought

  • We are looking for an accomplished General Ledger Accountant to drive financial reporting, analysis and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, preferably with experience in Shared Service Centres and multinational corporations.
  • SAP/Oracle or other major ERP Systems expertise is highly desirable.
  • A Third Level Degree or equivalent is essential for this role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with the ability to work independently, are must-haves for success.
  • A team player with a proactive approach to enhancing existing processes and developing new ones will thrive in this position.

About the Role

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including analysis of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Review and prepare Statutory Financial Statements.
  • Liaise with external auditors for periodic and year-end review procedures.
  • Liaise with Tax Specialists and Advisors to ensure compliance with external reporting requirements.
  • Assist with SOX Compliance and Reporting.
  • Prepare, analyze and post journals at month end.
  • Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations at month end.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Third Level Degree or equivalent.
  • 0-5 years relevant experience preferably with Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background.
  • SAP/Oracle or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Be an effective team player with ability to work under own initiative.
  • Strong computer skills especially MS Office.
