Senior Building Services Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dublin as a Lead Engineer for Building Services.

  • Design, manage and coordinate the production of all Building Services systems, including HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing and Fire Protection for large scale projects.
  • Lead the design from concept to handover and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to further develop our design capability.
  • Attend design team meetings, conduct onsite inspections, develop and guide team members under your supervision, and liaise with the wider project team.
  • Ensure designs are in accordance with applicable codes and standards, such as Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience in designing Building Services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment in the pharmaceutical or allied sectors.
  • Competence in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo, and an Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland) in Building Services or Mechanical engineering.
  • Experience working in a collaborative BIM environment, and Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
