Production Specialist Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting research tasks with guidance from senior colleagues.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research tasks with guidance from senior colleagues and produce high-quality results.
  • Produce bulk cyanoacrylate according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Handle laboratory equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
  • Document laboratory activities for reference purposes.
  • Monitor and report progress of analytical tests.
  • Work closely with the Head of Laboratory to set objectives and milestones.
  • Coordinate, prioritise and plan lab tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Perform routine QC testing as part of shelf life studies.
  • Ensure final product meets quality and customer specifications.
  • Maintain sufficient stock of chemicals and supplies.
  • Investigate issues, analyse root causes and define resolutions.
  • Suggest improvements for test procedures.
  • Develop standard procedures to improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A third level degree in a science or engineering discipline is required.
  • 0 – 3 years' experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills are essential.
  • The ability to work in teams and on own initiative is required.
  • An open mind and willingness to cross train across different functional areas is beneficial.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience in gas chromatography and moisture titration is desirable.
  • Previous experience in analytic chemistry is also desired.
