In partnership with our client, Sedgwick Resource Solutions is seeking an experienced Product Specialist based in Dublin 2. This is a contract role to work on a specific project until March 2026 in the Banking sector.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Product Manager, the core function of the Product Specialist is to play a central role in supporting the CPC programme by managing and delivering key components of a programme of work aimed at satisfying commercial commitments of the team\'s portfolio.

Your Team:

The product team is responsible for implementing change necessary for Lending Growth across Mortgages and Personal Lending, Business Banking and Asset Finance, Regulatory & Legislative adherence, and ongoing risk control and maintenance of products and processes. You will work directly with other Product Specialists and a Product Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of product Business Requirements
  • Manage new product/campaign launches from inception to go-to-market launch
  • Lead the design and implementation of sales and operational processes with engagement from subject matter professionals for new products
  • Ensure implemented product or process is consistent with the approved design and delivers the value and customer benefits defined during the design approval process
  • Collaboratively work with numerous functions in group centre to develop engaging, customer experience enhancing propositions
  • Contribute to the overall strategy and performance by identifying market opportunities, key competitive activities/responses, and potential areas of development/improvement on an ongoing basis
  • Identify market threats and take appropriate action to protect base and revenue
  • Ensure ongoing, effective cross-functional engagement to deliver agreed KPIs
  • Effective stakeholder management skills will be crucial in succeeding in the role

Requirements:

  • Proven success in consistently achieving targets or working to deadlines
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver required outcome
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify commercial opportunities and capitalise through implementing programmes of change
  • Detailed knowledge of Regulatory and Legislative requirements within which products are developed and operate
  • Ability to lead, track and drive implementation of change across business areas

Desired –

  • Broad understanding of the financial services industry and specifically lending products
  • QFA or APA qualification
  • Strong understanding of Customer Behaviour
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
