The role of Quality Assurance Manager involves site leadership and the management of the quality assurance function, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) in line with ISO, HACCP, FSSC 22000, or other relevant standards to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international food safety regulations and statutory requirements through proactive monitoring and audits.
  • Conduct regular audits (internal, supplier, and third-party) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Oversight of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) is essential to maintaining a clean and safe production environment.
  • Effective monitoring of Critical Control Points (CCPs) in production processes ensures consistent product quality.
  • Leading food safety team meetings and coordinating annual reviews of HACCP plans are critical to staying on top of regulatory requirements.
  • Establishing and monitoring specifications for raw materials, in-process, and finished products ensures that only high-quality materials are used in production.
  • Quality data analysis, report preparation, and proposal of action plans to meet quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are key responsibilities of this role.
  • Collaboration with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams is crucial for smooth new product development (NPD) and process validation.

Maintaining all quality-related documentation as per regulatory and certification body requirements is vital for ensuring compliance and efficiency.
