Trade Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Trade Support Analyst to provide expert-level support for our Global Markets trading and sales desks.

This role ensures the stability, compliance, and strategic improvement of spreadsheet solutions vital to pricing, risk management, and analytics, while mitigating spreadsheet risk across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity and performance of mission-critical systems, ensuring business service levels are met and environments are managed.
  • Monitor and restore service, make changes, and handle day-to-day activities required to run critical systems.
  • Provide Help/Service Desk support, coordinate Incident Management, deploy changes to production environments, and engage 3rd-party providers as needed.
  • Participate in testing cycles to ensure deployability and operability of infrastructure and applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of work experience in a Trade Floor Environment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Excel, managing add-ins, and quant library installs.
  • Strong understanding of Excel formulas, nested data manipulation, and workflows.
  • Exposure to real-time data feeds, including Market data and BBG, Risk/Pvs, and Trade Blotter.
  • Understanding of the Rates trading business, including Futures, Swaps, Xccy Swaps, and FX forwards.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to quickly understand trader issues and articulate progress.
  • Basic Python skills, able to debug code and suggest fixes for issues.

Education:

  • BSc. in a relevant field, such as science, engineering, information systems, math, or business.
