Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team in Dublin. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial management of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and reconcile large volumes of spreadsheet data from the collateral manager prior to recording the transactions on the accounting system.
  • Preparation of the trial balance for a portfolio of Irish, Jersey & Cayman incorporated CLO SPVs, in line with transactional and statutory deadlines.
  • Completion of routine monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of CLO SPVs.
  • Preparation and filing of quarterly regulatory returns to Central Bank of Ireland on a timely basis.
  • Once appropriate training has been provided, assist with the preparation of iXBRL tagged financial statements.
Requirements:
  • A good understanding of basic accounting debits & credits, with experience at posting entries to an accounting general ledger.
  • No less than 2 year experience in a relevant accounting trainee role with a recognised accounting firm or financial services company; or have an Accounting Technician qualification.
  • CLO experience would be a significant advantage.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel. A very strong familiarity with vlookup/xlookup and sumifs is essential.
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
