Instrumentation and Controls Engineer - Pharmaceutical Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team supporting major projects in the Pharmaceutical sector.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a senior engineer to lead and work as part of a team, supervising and delegating to other engineers.
  • You will define appropriate workflow processes to achieve project purposes and ensure I&C is delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of I&C principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a site team supporting major projects in the Pharmaceutical sector.
  2. Define and implement efficient workflow processes to meet project requirements.
  3. Manage and deliver I&C scope on schedule and within budget.
  4. Develop detailed design deliverables and construction packages for I&C contractors.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering I&C scope for Pharmaceutical projects or similar areas.
  • BEng (Hons) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including instrumentation specification, indexes/IO lists, field network design, panel design, and construction packs.
  • Ability to generate URS/SOW documents and ensure new equipment meets site procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, team building, and strong work ethic.
