We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to fill a role in our financial services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing VAT returns, and providing excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for clients.
  • Assisting with tax compliance, including preparing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and liaising with tax authorities as required.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, working within a practice environment on the preparation of both financial accounts & taxation. They will also possess strong technical skills, including knowledge of Xero and other cloud-based accounting software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
