Alliance and Collaborations Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Manager in Alliance and Collaborations Accounting.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, with a strong background in Big 4 training and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent qualification. They will be responsible for supporting end-to-end alliance and collaborations accounting and reporting processes, preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, and analyzing variances.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional seeking to expand technical expertise and gain experience in complex accounting operations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and management levels to ensure high-quality reporting in financial statements and management reports.
About the RoleThis position is ideal for an accounting professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting accounting, control, and reporting activities of the region.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations, royalty payments).
- Analyzing and explaining variances.
- Preparing external filings and management reporting schedules.
- Managing related payments.
- Maintaining internal controls.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborating with teams including Alliance Management, FP&A, Legal, and others.
- Supporting contract compliance and financial term interpretation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in accounting.
- Big 4 training background.
- Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Experience in multinational organizations.
- Preferred experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals.
