Software Documentation Specialist

This is an ad-hoc contract opportunity for a skilled technical writer to support various projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality software documentation, including user guides, configuration guides, and administration guides.
  • Maintain style consistency, adhere to delivery processes, and communicate status regularly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage workload fluctuations.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, with expertise in writing software documentation using DITA authoring tools.

Able to work in documentation teams, communicate proactively, and follow style guides and templates.

Requirements
  • DITA authoring tools and documentation delivery processes
  • SAP technical writing experience or willingness to acquire it
  • Excellent writing skills, proactive attitude, and teamwork orientation
  • Experience with IXIA CCMS, Jira, GitHub, and user experience designers a plus
