Senior Dental Team Member Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Practice Manager and Dental Nurse to work in South Dublin. As a dual role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a modern dental practice while providing chairside assistance to dentists during various treatment procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver competent chairside support during a variety of treatment procedures, anticipating the needs of the dentist and patients.
  • Support the dentist during various dental procedures, including orthodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain precise and detailed patient records, including dental charting and treatment notes.
  • Guarantee strict infection control protocols are followed at all times.
  • Decontaminate and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials for treatment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage and maintain dental supplies and inventory, restocking as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
  • Assist with reception duties where required.
  • Support dental laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary restorations.

Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and a great customer focus.
  • Personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Previous management experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Comfortable managing an experienced team.
  • Business acumen and knowledge of Human Resources and Health & Safety.
  • Enjoy figures and are motivated by production and bottom line results.
  • Caring, kind, and professional demeanor.
