Electrical quality assurance and control professionals play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects.

About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced electrical QA/QC engineer to join our life sciences projects in Cork.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality work, adhering to regulatory standards, and providing excellent support throughout our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • To prepare comprehensive testpacks and operation & maintenance manuals that meet industry standards.
  • To review and issue final handover documentation to clients and management teams in a timely manner.
  • To prepare, review, and support As-Built drawings on the project, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory standards throughout the project, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues.
  • To conduct quality control inspections to guarantee the highest level of quality in our deliverables.

Requirements

  • Educated to electrical craftsperson or engineering qualification level, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • At least 3 years' experience working in a construction environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient with IT, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones, with a strong understanding of software applications relevant to the role.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • High proficiency in English language (written & spoken).
