We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Compensation Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing monthly and year-end payout calculations, reporting, analysis, and various ad hoc requests.

This position demands an analytical approach to problem-solving, as well as outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Key responsibilities include reviewing portfolio manager contracts, working on all aspects of the portfolio manager lifecycle, and interacting with various departments.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably with hedge fund experience in compensation accounting.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate with senior leaders, including management and portfolio managers.

A strong client service mentality, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple deadlines are also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze portfolio manager contracts
  • Prepare monthly and year-end payout calculations
  • Report and analyze compensation-related data
  • Interact with various departments, including portfolio managers, business heads, HR, legal, middle office, and IT

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple deadlines
