Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale IT outsourcing project. This contract role is based in Dublin with hybrid working options.

This is a hands-on position with real accountability for external readiness assurance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • External Readiness Project Manager to support a large-scale transition programme, ensuring third-party delivery plans are structured, sequenced, and integrated into the overall programme.
  • Coordinating external readiness activities across different organisational boundaries.
  • Managing dependencies and risks between internal and external delivery teams.
  • Operating within a structured PMO environment, contributing to RAID, milestone tracking, and reporting.
  • Facilitating external joint planning sessions and surfacing misalignments early.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in project management.
  • Extensive experience delivering complex IT managed service projects and IT business readiness.
  • Strong commercial and vendor management skills with proven experience negotiating with third-party service providers.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are highly advantageous.
