About the Role
The Activities Coordinator will play a key role in planning and implementing a Meaningful Activity Programme within our care home. This programme will ensure that all residents can participate in meaningful and life-enhancing activities as part of their daily life in residential care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with older adults and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive activity programme
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of activities
* Engage with residents to understand their interests and preferences
* Plan and coordinate events, outings, and activities
* Utilize creative skills to develop engaging activities (e.g., cooking, gardening, arts and crafts)
* Maintain accurate records of resident participation and engagement

Requirements
* Experience working in a care setting or similar environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic IT skills and familiarity with EpicCare platform
* Relevant qualifications or training in a related field (e.g., Sonas Programme Course)
