Tech Leadership Role for Financial Systems

We are seeking a seasoned tech leader to oversee the engineering team in the financial services domain, focusing on general ledger systems.

This leadership-focused position involves guiding a team, providing technical direction, and ensuring delivery excellence. While not a hands-on coding role, you will bring technical credibility to advise your team through complex solutions when required.

About the Position

  • Leverage your expertise to lead and mentor engineers, promoting best practices in delivery and design.
  • Drive the engineering roadmap for financial systems, specifically within general ledger.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and Technology to ensure alignment.
  • Offer architectural guidance, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, team performance, and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tech Leader or similar.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems / general ledger platforms is desired but not essential.
  • Technical background in .NET with exposure to AWS cloud.
  • Ability to lead teams without being hands-on daily, but comfortable stepping in with solutions when needed.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
