Lead Clinical Systems Implementation

Seek a seasoned clinical professional to spearhead the implementation of healthcare provider systems, ensuring seamless integration with clinician and health IT systems.

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the electronic health record (EHR) implementation across Ireland.

As a clinical expert, you will provide strategic and tactical leadership for the Provider Systems workstream, ensuring alignment with clinical operations, financial systems, and overall programme goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the new Provider Systems workstream within project scope and governance.
  • Establish and lead a high-performing project team, allocate responsibilities, and collaborate with other clinical workstream leads as required.
  • Drive decision-making towards resolution of issues impacting the workstream, alongside the Clinical Stream Lead.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Clinical degree required (e.g., medical, nursing, allied health professional) with demonstrated experience in clinical systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare clinical/provider operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting or leading system implementations (preferably MEDITECH or similar ERP/EHR platforms).
  • Proven understanding of clinician/provider workflows, clinical safety practices, and quality reporting standards.
  • Strong project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with ability to work across clinical and operational teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience implementing MEDITECH clinician/provider, particularly PCM and OM, or equivalent capabilities with other major EHR systems.
  • Certification or advanced training in health informatics.
  • Knowledge of clinical decision support, change management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
