Job Title: Front Office Manager Assistant

We are recruiting a skilled and organized professional to support the front desk and guest services team at our 4-star property in Cavan.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day front office operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and overall guest relations. They will also supervise, train, and motivate the front office team to consistently deliver high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train the front office team to maintain excellent service standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist in managing all front office operations, including reception, reservations, and guest services.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to provide seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor room availability, manage allocations, and support upselling initiatives.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing team development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and brand standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a hotel front office (4-star or higher preferred).
  • Passionate about providing excellent guest service.
  • Knowledge of hotel PMS systems.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Professional appearance, proactive attitude, and positive approach.
