The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production line, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Manage operator teams to maximise output and maintain quality
  • Provide hands-on leadership and motivation to team members
  • Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety protocols, and hygiene standards
  • Support training, development, and rotation of operators to maintain a flexible workforce
  • Monitor and maintain traceability, complete record-keeping, and respond to quality issues in real time
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality assurance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the achievement of manufacturing KPIs
  • Promote and ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety practices in the production area
  • Liaise with Quality and other key stakeholders to resolve any issues proactively

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2–4 years' experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • Qualification in food science or a related discipline
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence
