Medical Device Production Specialist

As a Manufacturing Engineer-Hybrid at Cregg Group, you'll be part of our dedicated Galway-based team that develops and manufactures high-quality medical devices.
Your main responsibilities will include developing and implementing manufacturing business improvement projects and processes, analyzing processes, product, material, or equipment specifications and performance requirements, introducing/transfer and validating new equipment, and conducting continuous improvement and yield analysis.
Additionally, you'll engage with technicians, operators, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business process success. You'll contribute to NPI (New Product Introduction) development, execute new equipment introductions, perform root cause analysis using Lean tools and techniques, and write and improve process procedures.
To excel in this role, you should possess a NFQ Level 7 or 8 qualification in a Technical Discipline (Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.) and a minimum of 2-5 years' experience working at an Engineering level, preferably in the Medical Device industry or other highly regulated environment. Experience in project planning and management, automated manufacturing equipment, and process and equipment validations is highly desirable.
