Job Overview

The role of Sustainability Advisor is a key position that requires expertise in governance for sustainability and responsible supply chains.

This permanent, full-time role involves working with businesses to enhance their sustainability performance and develop strategies for responsible leadership.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver advisory services on governance topics and responsible supply chains to member companies.
  • Identify and design collaborative initiatives to support businesses in achieving their sustainability goals.
  • Design and deliver workshops and events on governance and responsible supply chain topics.
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications: A third-level degree or equivalent qualification in corporate governance and sustainability, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum five years' experience in business advisory organizations or similar fields.

As a Sustainability Advisor, you will work closely with businesses to address core topics such as strategy and leadership; reporting and disclosure; stakeholder engagement; materiality; and risk-based due diligence.

Additionally, you will support BITCI's work on Business and Human Rights or Supplier Engagement / Responsible Supply Chains.
