Sustainability and Governance Specialist



About the Role:

This is a permanent role requiring 35 hours of work per week with a 6-month probationary period.


The salary will be based on experience and skills, between €45,000-€55,000 per annum.


The job is based in Dublin and requires occasional presence at an office location.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert on governance for sustainability, providing guidance to colleagues and externally.
  • Follow regulatory and policy developments, interpreting their implications for members and the organisation.
  • Deliver advisory services to member companies on governance topics and responsible supply chains.
  • Design and deliver collaborative initiatives to support member companies in achieving their goals.
  • Plan and execute workshops and events on governance topics and responsible supply chains for senior business leaders and specialists.
  • Support the CEO-level Leaders Group through research, session design, facilitation, and other tasks.
  • Represent the organisation externally through speaking engagements, articles, policy submissions, government meetings, and media engagement.
  • Manage a portfolio of member companies, building trust and engagement, and ensuring they make good use of membership entitlements.
  • Support business development and funding applications as required.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the organisation's strategy, including joining working groups and owning/supporting specific tasks and objectives.
  • Improve the organisation's internal governance and transparency.
