As a Sustainability Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering advisory services that foster good governance and drive responsible business practices.

  • You will work closely with member companies to strengthen their sustainability governance practices, providing expert guidance on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, materiality, and risk-based due diligence.
  • Collaborate with businesses to embed responsible business practices, including supplier engagement and supply chain management.
  • Support the development of key initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing member companies' sustainability performance.
  • Represent the organization externally through thought leadership, policy submissions, and media engagements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert on corporate governance and sustainability, offering insight and guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Delivering customized advisory services to member companies on governance topics, including responsible supply chains.
  • Designing and implementing collaborative initiatives to support member companies in achieving their sustainability goals.
  • Managing a portfolio of member companies, building trust and engagement, and ensuring they make optimal use of their membership entitlements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

In-depth expertise and thorough knowledge of corporate governance and sustainability are essential. This can be demonstrated through a third-level degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of five years' experience working directly with business or in a business advisory organization, in a role focused on sustainability performance, reporting, leadership development, responsible supply chains, or similar.
  • Experience designing and delivering services and interventions that promote sustainability within business.
