Sustainability Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial part in shaping sustainable outcomes across various commercial, residential, and healthcare projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop energy models and simulations to guide sustainable design strategies
  • Design mechanical systems with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability
  • Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and sustainability consultants
  • Support compliance with local and international sustainability standards and regulations
  • Provide technical input during design stages and contribute to project documentation

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a consultancy or building design environment
  • Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., IES VE, TAS, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of heat load calculations and mechanical systems design
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
