- They should have a proven track record in risk management, lines of defence, or IT functions, with a strong understanding of technology operations and risk frameworks.

- Develop and implement an IT risk management framework that aligns with the firm's Enhanced Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
- Provide regular risk reporting for core IT processes, including KPI and KRI reports.
- Maintain technology policies and oversee changes through relevant governance bodies.
- Prepare and support the Technology Risk Forum and provide input to regional Risk Committees.
- Manage the risk register, including controls, attestations, assurance, issue-action tracking, and event management.
- Oversee control development, attestation, remediation plans, and assurance programmes.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and enhance tools for demonstrating controls oversight within the first line of defence.
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation, remediation, validation, and management response.
The successful candidate will bring:
- A solid IT background within financial services.
- A strong background in IT risk & controls, ideally within an Operational Risk environment.
- A proven track record within Risk Management, Lines of Defence, or IT functions.
- A strong understanding of Technology operations and risk frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, accountable approach with the ability to work under pressure.
