Product Governance Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Governance Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise in governance and underwriting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our product oversight and governance policies and procedures throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Manage the Product Governance Team
  • Oversee the Prestige Underwriting annual product reviews, including completion, scheduling, framework, and reporting
  • Develop and implement the Prestige Underwriting product oversight and governance framework, including completion, scheduling, and reporting
  • Provide support to underwriters, capacity providers, and key partners on new product governance onboarding frameworks and processes
  • Assist in the management of conduct risks from the underwriting side of the business
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • GCSEs grade C or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable experience in managing governance-based projects with a proven ability to deliver successful outcomes
  • Extensive experience in underwriting in the personal lines market
  • Insurance market knowledge
  • Experience of analysing data, producing reports, and providing recommendations
