Warehouse Operations Role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Warehouse Operative to support essential operational functions and ensure smooth stock handling within our fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage stock levels within the warehouse to support efficient operations.
  • Manage the pick, pack, and dispatch of orders in line with company procedures.
  • Manage goods inwards and oversee the receipt of inventory.
  • Ensure all operating and health and safety procedures are maintained and adhered to.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Utilize a computerized stock control system to manage inventory and optimize stock levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service at the trade counter, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and respond to queries both at the trade counter and over the phone.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Deliver stock to customers as required and meet deadlines for order fulfillment.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Highly flexible and reliable individual with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Good English literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to read and understand instructions and procedures.
  • A valid driving license is an advantage but not essential, and previous experience in a trade counter or warehouse role is beneficial but not required.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using a computerized stock control system.
