Job Description:

The role of Assistant Warehouse Manager involves the efficient running of a warehouse, ensuring direct reports adhere to roles and responsibilities. Hands-on floor supervision of staff associated with the movement of goods within the warehouse, including training and performance management as required. Oversee stock management and be responsible for all stock movements in, out, and within the warehouse.

Liaise with operations on container bookings, printing barcodes, and container lists. Ensure safe and accurate picking of all orders and loading of vans/trucks. Review and analyze best use of warehouse loading floor space to maximize productive loading and unloading of goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide cover for Warehouse Manager as required.
  • Responsible for store deliveries via in-house drivers.
  • Responsible for all safe and accurate e-commerce/web deliveries via courier drivers.
  • Main point of contact for any picking, unloading, or delivery issues, liaising with operations and Logistics manager as required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years experience in a similar logistics role.
