Logistics and Quality Control Supervisor Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality levels within the quality control side of the department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Receipt and verification of all incoming goods ensuring timely repair job bookings.
  • Effective management of batch work units between returns and logistics departments.
  • Efficient receipt and dispatch of configuration work to HQ and distribution order processing.
  • Oversight of customer relationship management tasks assigned to logistics personnel.
Additional Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordination of incoming and outgoing consignments using internal systems, despatch books, and direct contact with courier services.
  • Resolution of customer unknowns and handling of courier returns.
  • Prioritization of tasks to ensure logistics staff completes duties on time.
  • Ensuring daily despatch of processed handsets as per schedule.
  • Verification of accurate outgoing consignments.
  • Management of customer consignment picking and packing processes.
  • Conducting regular stock takes including weekly despatch materials, monthly VSP stock checks, and daily configuration stock checks.
  • Quality assurance testing of repaired handsets.
  • Maintenance of reports and databases related to the logistics department.
  • Management of non-stock inventory and warehouse stock.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Degree qualified with a background in logistics, business operations, or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge and interest in the telecom sector.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain functions.
  • Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
