Job Description:

William Fry is seeking a senior lawyer to join our Projects & Construction team. This team provides expert advice across complex commercial and large-scale residential development, transport, energy, and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for playing a key role in various transactions, providing advice on construction-related legal issues, drafting and negotiating key contracts and agreements, and servicing complex construction projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience within a reputable law firm or in-house legal team, with a focus on construction, energy, infrastructure, and/or other major projects.

They will be proficient in drafting and negotiating a wide range of industry standard form and bespoke form contracts and related documents, with a solid understanding of market standards.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

A strong interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers on the team is also desirable.
