We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) to take on a leadership role in dementia care. You will have significant post-registration experience with a strong clinical background in gerontology or dementia care, and a relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert clinical advice and support to nursing staff
  • Developing and implementing clinical guidelines and policies
  • Leading and participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Educating and mentoring nursing staff
  • Acting as a role model in delivering high-quality care
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
