Key Role:

The Associate, Fund Finance plays a pivotal role in the success of our organization by providing comprehensive financial and operational support to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Support: Collaborate with Private Debt teams to provide accurate financial deliverables and ensure high-quality statements.
  • Operational Support: Develop and maintain good working relationships between the team and internal/external clients and suppliers.
  • Fund Administration: Provide support for setting up new structures or funds, including structuring team, internal counsel, external advisors, and Private Debt team.
  • Review and Approval: Review and approval of fund expenses, management/performance fees, capital events, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversight: Oversight of third-party fund administration providers, depositaries, and service providers.
  • Audit and Reporting: Assist with external audits, quarterly board reporting, and preparation of materials for quarterly board meetings.

  • Accounting Expertise: Recognised accounting qualification with strong accounting skills.
  • Private Markets Knowledge: Broad knowledge of private markets, preferably funds of funds or Private Debt, and the processes involved in servicing these funds.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused individual with experience in fund accounting/operations and passion for quality and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to lay out processes, controls, and procedures in simple formats.
  • Change Management: Experience in process change and improvement projects.
  • Organisation and Planning: Excellent organisation and planning skills.
