Financial Operations Specialist

This is a pivotal role within our organization where you will be responsible for managing and maintaining various financial systems, processes, and tools. As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Updating TMS user and static data administration to ensure set-up complies with Treasury best practice.
• Collaborating with users of TMS/Payment Hub and other internal/external teams to resolve queries and issues as they arise.
• Assisting in the monitoring and remediation of AIG Payment activity and assisting in remediation of related issues.
• Supporting the Treasury Operations team through regulatory, industry best-practice, business and Treasury led enhancements to help deliver a best-in-class technology and data driven Treasury Operations team.
• Supporting the transition of Electronic Banking Users/processes to Kyriba platform to allow closure of third-party applications.
• Working on enhancement requests, configuring Treasury applications, internal and external testing and Treasury led promotion to production activities.
• As a Kyriba support contact, logging and monitoring support tickets in the Kyriba Support Portal as required.
• Working closely with management to implement end-to-end operational processes and controls relating to new Treasury technology.
• Providing feedback into relationship management calls/metrics.
• The role will involve a combination of teamwork and close collaboration with small teams, as well as independent management of items.
• Supporting the management of Kyriba patches and upgrades with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensuring adherence to all AIG Treasury policies and controls.
• Assessing Treasury and business-related TMS processes with a view to gain optimum use of the TMS.
• Other Treasury-related duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for individuals with:

• Experience using TMS (Treasury Management System) and/or Payment hub – Preferably Kyriba.
• Treasury/Finance Operations background an advantage.
• Knowledge of payment formats an advantage and/or ability to read XML file format.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word and PowerPoint. Visual Basic knowledge an advantage.
• English fluency is required.
• Strong analytical skills and able to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve items to completion and implement change to prevent reoccurrence.
• Must be able to communicate information clearly and concisely to stakeholders as needed, in both written and verbal format.
