Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing and coordinating financial operations for private equity and related structures. This dynamic position offers exposure to complex cross-border financial structures and close collaboration with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with global teams on financial operations activities.
  • Oversee and review work performed by external administrators and service providers.
  • Monitor and analyze financial-related activities across multiple private equity programs.
  • Reconcile monthly valuations as prepared by third-party administrators.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports for SPVs and funds.
  • Cash flow forecasting, capital call and distribution monitoring, and performance measurement.
  • Relationship management across internal teams, external partners, and advisors.
  • Active participation in projects, process improvements, and system implementations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in private equity, investment controlling, fund/SPV accounting
  • Strong understanding of private markets structures, including SPVs and related financing.
  • Experience coordinating and reviewing work of third-party fund administrators.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet demanding deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset with curiosity to understand the impact of complex transactions on private equity programs.
