Role Summary

This position focuses on delivering and implementing heritage in education policy across national curricula at all levels, as well as post-primary heritage programming and the development of the heritage skills landscape in Ireland.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering and implementing heritage in education policy across national curricula at all levels;
  2. Post-primary heritage programming; and,
  3. The development of the heritage skills landscape in Ireland.

This role is a key member of the Research, Learning and Cultural Heritage Team and will work closely with other colleagues to develop training programs in the heritage sector.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Educational qualifications relevant to the field;
  • Significant work experience in heritage or a related field;
  • A strong understanding of heritage in education policy;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology;
