
Cybersecurity Project Manager

Job Overview:
The Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of project management for assigned projects within the Cybersecurity portfolio. This includes planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery and alignment with objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Spearhead the planning phase, ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with defined objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Resource Allocation: Lead efforts to allocate resources effectively across cybersecurity projects and programs, balancing resource constraints with project demands.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Cultivate a proactive approach to risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with cybersecurity projects.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
- Performance Evaluation: Implement metrics and performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of cybersecurity projects and report on project performance, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Professional Project Management Experience: 4+ years of experience in managing large-scale cybersecurity projects with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.
- Effective Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, training, and presentation skills, as well as experience in leading multiple, highly-diverse teams to achieve results.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: A strong background in cybersecurity, with knowledge of the NIST/NICE framework and its application in cybersecurity program management.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) in relevant disciplines are preferred.
