Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading high value and complexity projects from conceptual phase through to project completion in the Energy and Utilities sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree or similar discipline relevant to the specification, with 7+ years post-graduate and relevant design experience. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and project management from conceptual phase through to project completion in the Energy and Utilities sectors.
  • Industrial and building services utilities design, HVAC, steam, refrigeration & compressed air systems.
  • Energy retrofit upgrades of buildings and building fabric.
  • Development of preliminary and detailed design calculations.
  • Development of design drawings and specifications.
  • Development of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design reports.
  • Balance of plant design.
  • Design and implementation of energy saving projects.
  • Attend and participate in HAZID/HAZOP and LOPA studies.
  • Carry out PSDP role.
