Residential Conveyancing Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Newly Qualified Solicitor to join our team as a Conveyancing Solicitor. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions and assisting with wills, probate, and estate administration matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conveyancing and/or private client work, possess strong client care skills and effective communication style, and be well organised and methodical. You will also have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining accurate time recording, billing, and digital file management.

This role offers the chance to build your career within a supportive team environment, gaining exposure to residential and commercial property transactions alongside wills, probate, and estate administration work.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of residential and/or commercial property transactions
2. Assist with wills, probate, and estate administration matters
3. Support senior solicitors with file progression
4. Draft and review contracts, leases, wills, enduring powers of attorney, and estate accounts
5. Conduct title checks and pre-contract enquiries
6. Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, HMRC, executors, and beneficiaries
7. Attend client meetings, taking instructions with sensitivity and accuracy
8. Maintain accurate time recording, billing, and digital file management

Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Newly Qualified Solicitor (up to 2 years PQE)
2. Experience in conveyancing and/or private client work
3. Strong client care skills and effective communication style
4. Well organised, methodical, and detail focused
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
6. Experience using a legal CMS and Microsoft Office
